Future-Proof Your Buildings with Expert Retrofit Design

‘A successful retrofit design is vital for enhancing building performance, energy efficiency, and overall sustainability.’

Sustainable, Cost-Effective, and Smart

Is your property underperforming? Rising energy costs, outdated layouts, and inefficient materials can make even the best spaces feel like a liability. Our expert retrofit design service transforms existing buildings into high-performance, low-energy, and future-ready spaces – without the need for costly demolition.

Why Retrofit?

Lower Energy Bills – Reduce consumption and improve thermal comfort
Sustainable & Net Zero Ready – Meet carbon reduction tests with ease
Enhanced Property Value – A modern, efficient building is a smarter investment
Minimum Disruption – Improve without starting from scratch

By adhering to the PAS2035 framework, each project can maximize comfort, reduce carbon footprints, and extend the lifespan of existing structures. Thoughtful integration of retrofit measures into buildings not only transforms spaces but preserves their unique character.

Retrofit Project Examples

Hill Park Road and Lee Court – Brixham

A deep PAS 2035 compliant retrofit project in Brixham, consisting of 32 houses and bungalows, as well as 3 blocks of 8 flats each. The ground floor consists of an internal timber frame skin and an outer no-fines skin, while the first floor is just timber frame. This deep retrofit included the following measures: external wall insulation, replacement of windows and doors, re-roofing works with associated structural repairs, pitched and flat roof insulation, as well as ventilation upgrades.

Our involvement in the project was from RIBA Stage 3 – RIBA Stage 5. Full plans applications, as well as certificate of lawful development planning applications, were submitted.
